The Garage, formerly Aardvark Autotune started life in the back of a white Bedford Rascal van in 1992, primarily tuning cars, as business expanded the business moved into the premises at 322 Kirk Road, Wishaw.
The name change came around the beginning of the year 2001 to "The Garage" due to the expanding workload that the business done, we no longer just tune cars.
The most important aspect of The Garage are our customers that's why we focus on customer service and ensuring peace of mind and efficient, courteous, friendly service
2002 has seen The Garage move into an international era, we are now the sole UK supplier for RPW Racing equipment, an Australian based company who specialises in both standard replacement components and Performance components for Mitsubishi, Proton and Hyundai vehicles.
We can also supply and fit Whiteline Premium Suspension kits also from an Australian manufacturer
In the past 9 months we have been installing HighPower Systems nitrous injection kits into several different makes of cars with great success.
2005 has seen The Garage move into larger and more modern premises located at Unit 1, Pickerings House, Netherton, Wishaw, ML2 0EQ.
Facilities at the new premises are much improved, customers are invited to our waiting room, from here they can remotely observe any repairs undertaken in the workshop via TV, or enjoy a full surround DVD ..... For those younger adults amongst us there is of course also a playstation with up to date titles for your pleasure. It goes without saying that tea and coffee facilities are also freely available. Integral to the new office area is a small store, we will always try to carry a fair stock of items that we feel will be of benefit or interest to the casual browser.
Obviously for the more serious buyer we have an area we can sit and discuss your personal requirements and draw up a plan to help bring your dreams into reality. With over 15 years in this trade and having produced some of the finest cars this area has ever seen that’s not an idle brag. We can help advise you on both performance and styling demands but our emphasis is always on practicality, we do not at this point do ICE installs .... having always preferred the sound of a well tuned engine to the latest drum n bass wonder.
